About Us
Welcome to The Lodge at Newbury Racecourse
The Lodge is Newbury Racecourse’s new hotel located in the grounds of the Racecourse estate, just a 2 minute walk away from Newbury Racecourse Station.
The 36 ensuite bedrooms each have individually designed décor, luxury Super King sized beds draped in bright white Egyptian cotton and bespoke furniture. We also offer a delicious breakfast and friendly service.

Our friendly reception team is on hand 24 hours a day to help with anything you need, from an iron to some extra tea bags for your room.
Our Beds
All of our rooms have luxury thread cotton bed linen and Super King sized beds, with a thousand individually pocketed springs offering a comfortable night’s sleep.
Our Pillows
Each room also has a choice of Luxury Duck feather and microfibre pillows.
Bathrooms
All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, which include toilet, sink and rain effect shower.
Switch on
All of our rooms have 32” TVs with Freeview channels.
Hairdryers
Each room has a hairdryer which is located in the basket above the hanging rail.
Towels
Towels will be changed three times a week unless otherwise requested.
Tea Time
All of our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities for you to use.
Refreshments
The Lodge Bar is open to the public from 7am to 11pm daily. For hotel residents it is available 24-7.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the Dining Room at the following times:
Monday to Friday: 7am to 9am
Saturday and Sunday: 7am to 11.30am
We offer a freshly cooked English Breakfast with a selection of cereals, pastries and seasonal fruits.
Breakfast is available for non-residents to book – please call reception to enquire.
Food
We serve a Selected Menu from Midday – 10pm daily, 7 days a week in our Dining Room.
The Lodge’s Selected Menu is available for non-residents – please call reception prior to arrival.

WiFi is complimentary throughout the entire building.
Working During Your Stay
Guests are welcome to work in the comfort of our Restaurant/Bar and Lobby during their stay with free access to WiFi. Please note our standard rate double rooms do not have a dedicated workspace. If you require a workspace in your room, please book one of our superior rooms which all contain desks.
Check-In
Check-in is from 3pm. Early Check-in is available from 12pm for an additional £20.
Check-Out
We politely request that guests are checked out by 11am. The option of a late check-out is also available, allowing you to stay until 1pm for an additional £20.
Guest supplies
The following items are available free of charge on request from reception: iron and ironing board, room fan and extra blankets.
Pets
Pets are not allowed with the exception of Assistance dogs.
Accessibility
Accessible rooms with interconnecting doors are available, including en-suite wet rooms, with lift access to all floors.
Being Green – Making The Sustainable Difference
The Lodge has invested in new toiletries from The Soap Co that produce products which have been handcrafted in the UK by people who are blind, disabled or otherwise disadvantaged. The Soap Co are Eco & Bee friendly, vegan, biodegradable, not harmful to aquatic life and cruelty-free with skin soothing borage and calendula bee friendly botanicals, as well as no small plastics or unnecessary wastage.

Going digital – we can email your invoice rather than printing it out.
